'tis the season to be blogging...

Well, the holidays came and went quite quickly (much like another birth year).

My birthday was SPECTACULAR.

Went to Busch Gardens, all of the Disney theme parks where they even gave me a little birthday button

and then to Universal on my actual birthday. I had fun and am not even going to lie...spent the majority of the day consuming 'birthday' beverages.

Oh, the irony of that last photo and my giant purse (s).

Except, this year I spent Christmas with Chris' family in New York and Connecticut.

Airplanes, skies and placing myself in different ventures makes life much easier for me. Some days I think about what it might be like to spend my days just moving from place to place. The idea sounds quite inviting.

Upon arriving, my whole demeanor changed. I love cold weather. Most people say it is because I live in Florida and I get to go "home" after a trip but, honestly, Florida is not home, New York is home. It was so nice to be in a place where the weather matched the season. In fact, I exhaled deeply just to see the mist of my breath before me. It was truly a beautiful sight.

I missed my boyfriend Griff. Look at how cute he looks just sitting by that window.

I love snow. Even in snow, I wear sandals.

I have never really celebrated Christmas eve. So this Christmas experience was extremely different. In my family, every one gathers on Eve, has some food and opens all the presents at midnight...one of the little kids places baby Jesus in his manger at this hour, as well. In Chris' family, you have friends and family over and have appetizers, drinks, dinner then dessert. No opening presents at midnight. So different than the past 22 years of my life.

Christmas Day we got up, opened presents, had a nice Christmas breakfast (which included turkey sausage since the Pfisters know I dont eat pork!) and omelettes! We then proceeded to Connecticut to have dinner at Chris' aunts house. Her farm consists of three donkeys, two goats, two dogs and a cow named Valentine. I was most certainly in love and in my element. His Aunt Sue is free spirited and uncle Jeff is a free spirited- Jew. I got along with his family so well. Unfortunately, after the 100+ pounds I gained that night I stopped taking pictured because I resembled something along the lines of this:

Anyway. All joking aside. I got a few gift certificates for Urban and bought these gems:

Parents gave me a Wii for my birthday. Got some Hello Kitty birthday cards, HK camera and HK dunnies from friends and some other kicking things. In laws gave me Mario Kart for Wii, so I've spent some time on that. All in all good holidays!

Oh yeah! I acquire a new tattoo whilst in New York. It's Colombia.

Here are some additional photos from New Years and such!

As always.
Miss you friends on all other ends.
